I am a software and embedded systems engineer with over two decades of experience across research labs, silicon providers, and IP companies. My career has taken me from the haptics labs of Pisa to the consumer electronics industry in Seoul, through AI and wireless connectivity in Sophia Antipolis, and onward to CPU modelling and Bluetooth IP development.

Technology has always been both my profession and my obsession — which is why, alongside writing embedded code for a living, I have spent years collecting the machines that shaped the industry I work in. This museum is where those two threads meet.

Graduated in Computer Science
I graduated at the University of Pisa with a score of 100/110. My thesis was developed at the PERCRO Lab of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, exploring Human-Machine Interaction in complex environments using Augmented Reality and Haptic Feedback technologies.

I worked as a researcher at the PERCRO Lab of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, continuing my thesis research. I discovered the value of an idea and the power of teamwork centred on one. An experience I will never forget.
2002 – 2014
Catania, Italy
Senior Application Engineer · STMicroelectronics
I joined STMicroelectronics in Catania, discovering the power of integration between hardware, firmware, and software. During this period the ODeV idea — an object-oriented embedded development framework — began to take shape.
2014 – 2019
Seoul, Korea
Field Application Engineer · STMicroelectronics
Five extraordinary years working with top Korean consumer electronics customers, bringing STM32-powered products to market. Here the ODeV framework became robust, reliable, and expansible. I also discovered Korea and that part of the world — an experience that changed my perspective permanently.

Working in the Artificial Intelligence Solutions team and later the Wireless Connectivity team in Sophia Antipolis. I embraced a vision of complex embedded applications built on four pillars: Sensing · Processing · Connectivity · Security.

Contributed to developing high-quality Fast Model CPU models for ARM-based processors — a fascinating intersection of software engineering and hardware architecture.

Contributing to the controller part of the Bluetooth IP at Ceva in Sophia Antipolis. Transitioning from a silicon provider to an IP provider is both challenging and intriguing — software plays a crucial role in hardware development, and every day brings a new perspective.

A collection of devices accumulated over forty years of passion for technology — from the Commodore 64 of the early 1980s to the iPhone X. Each piece has a story, and most of those stories intersect with my own.
